7 Things everyone with an audience should have set up
01. An Email List
The only audience you actually own. Instagram can change the algorithm, TikTok can get banned, your account can get hacked. Your email list goes nowhere. Start collecting emails before you need them... because you will need them.
02. A Place to Send People
A landing page, a link page, a website... something. Your Instagram bio is not a home base. You need one URL that clearly explains who you are and what you do.
03. A Clear Offer
Even if you're not selling anything yet, know what you'd sell. A service, a product, a session, a course. Vague is invisible. Get specific about what you'd offer when you're ready.
04. A Simple Brand Identity
A logo, two fonts, two colors. Consistency builds recognition. You don't need a full brand guide... you just need to look the same everywhere you show up.
05. A Content Plan
Not a rigid posting schedule. A direction. Three topics you talk about, one platform you're consistent on. That's enough to start.
06. A Way to Get Paid
Venmo is not a business. Set up a Stripe account or PayPal business account before someone tries to pay you. Don't scramble when the moment comes.
07. An Analytics Habit
Check your numbers once a week. What's working, what isn't. You can't improve what you're not paying attention to.
That's it. Seven things. Most people have maybe two or three. If you knocked out the rest this week, you'd be ahead of 90% of people building an audience right now.
If you want help getting any of this set up... that's exactly what The Agen-ce does.
